VERIFIEDG12-01Minchat Shai on Gen 4:7 (Masorah; Ramah)הלוא ("is it not?") written FULL with vav and aleph: the Ramah counts TWELVE plene in the Torah — "a Masorah for the whole Torah" — and the FIRST is here, opening the sin-at-the-door counsel. SNAPSHOT: exactly 12, first at 4:7.
full=['Deut 32:6', 'Exod 33:16', 'Gen 31:15', 'Gen 34:23', 'Gen 37:13', 'Gen 40:8', 'Gen 42:22', 'Gen 44:15', 'Gen 44:5', 'Gen 4:7', 'Num 14:3', 'Num 22:30'] of 30 tokens
VERIFIEDG12-02Minchat Shai on Gen 4:7 (Ramah; Sepharad books)אם תיטיב ("if you do well") — תיטיב written FULL with two yods, "one before the tet and one after" (Ramah). First token locked.
letters=תיטיב vs תיטיב
VERIFIEDG12-03Minchat Shai on Gen 4:7 (Ramah)ואם לא תיטיב ("and if you do not do well") — the second תיטיב "likewise" full with both yods (Ramah). Second token locked.
letters=תיטיב vs תיטיב
VERIFIEDG12-04Minchat Shai on Gen 4:7ואליך תשוקתו ("and to you is its longing") — the FIRST tav carries a dagesh (doubling dot): the woman's sentence-word re-aimed at sin, its pointing noted at the letter.
he=֔/וֹ
VERIFIEDG12-05Rashi on Gen 4:10 (Bereshit Rabbah 22:9; Sanhedrin 37b)דמי אחיך ("your brother's BLOODS") — the blood-word is PLURAL: "his blood and the blood of his descendants," or the many wounds. The chain answers the frozen unit's own [OPEN] plural-bloods flag; SNAPSHOT locks the plural construct form.
letters=דמי vs דמי
VERIFIEDG12-06Minchat Shai on Gen 4:14כל מצאי ("whoever finds ME will kill me" — Cain's fear) — the kaf is SOFT (no dagesh, the doubling dot): the kaf+qamatz sequence is contiguous in SNAPSHOT, no dot between.
he=כָל
VERIFIEDG12-07Minchat Shai on Gen 4:15כל מצאו ("whoever finds HIM" — the protection decree) — the kaf carries a dagesh (doubling dot): the fear-verse and the protection-verse form a soft/hard minimal pair one verse apart.
he=כָּל
VERIFIEDG12-08Minchat Shai on Gen 4:13 (the spelling dispute)DISCREPANCY OBSERVATION — מנשוא ("than I can bear"): the authorities split — five (old books, the scribe Rabbi Meir, a Yerushalmi copy) read DEFECTIVE without vav; the Hilleli codex, the Sepharad books, the Ramah, and Or Torah ("this is principal") read PLENE. SNAPSHOT writes it DEFECTIVE (מנשא) — siding with the defective camp AGAINST Minchat Shai's final ruling. The check locks what SNAPSHOT reads; the dispute is the finding.
letters=מנשא vs מנשא
VERIFIEDG12-09Minchat Shai on Gen 4:3ויבא קין ("and Cain brought") — the precise books read qadma (a forward-leaning accent) on the bet; another manuscript reads differently. SNAPSHOT: qadma.
mark=qadma
VERIFIEDG12-10Minchat Shai on Gen 4:4 (Hilleli; Ramah)מבכרות ("of the firstlings of his flock") — the Ramah: first vav ABSENT, second vav PRESENT; "every other spelling of the firstborn-word in the Torah is doubly defective." SNAPSHOT letter-exact.
letters=מבכרות vs מבכרות
UNCHECKABLEG12-11Minchat Shai on Gen 4:8The famous gap — ויאמר קין אל הבל אחיו ("and Cain said to Abel his brother" — and nothing said): precise manuscripts have NO paragraph break (pisqa) mid-verse here; "the printer erred" in adding one; Maimonides and Meiri count no section here. SNAPSHOT carries no paragraph-break data at all — instrument gap.
SNAPSHOT has no petucha/setuma (open/closed paragraph) instrumentation — verses/words tables carry no break columns; variant-and-gap class
VERIFIEDG12-12Rashi on Gen 4:16 (Bereshit Rabbah 21:9)קדמת עדן ("east of Eden") — Cain settles where his father was exiled (the 3:24 east), "and the eastern quarter is ever the refuge of murderers" (Deut 4:41, the refuge cities): the chain draws the unit's own east-of-Eden geography arrow and extends it to the manslayer law. SNAPSHOT: the construct קדמת ("east of") has exactly TWO Torah tokens, both in Eden's orbit — the rivers (2:14, east of Assyria) and the exile (4:16).

READINGS FILED (named-only, unclaimed)

The threefold את ("with") of the birth report = twin sisters born with the brothers (Bereshit Rabbah 22:3 via Rashi 4:1) · the two desires — the wicked's for sin, God's for Israel (Kitzur 4:7) · שאת ("uplift," 4:7) is one of Scripture's UNDECIDED words (no decisive parse — Minchat Shai citing the Great Masorah; SNAPSHOT's binary tree had to bind it: it chose the if-well arm) · fire from heaven consumed the favored offering (Rashi 4:4) · the worst fruits / linseed (Rashi 4:3; Tanchuma) · sin crouches at the door of the GRAVE (Rashi 4:7) · the elliptical threat — "one of the verses that abbreviate" (Rashi 4:15) · sevenfold = the seventh generation, Lamech (Rashi 4:15/4:24) · the mark = a letter of the Name on his forehead (Pirkei DeRabbi Eliezer 21) · Cain's exit as feigned humility (Bereshit Rabbah 22:13) · the burial-place tradition on מוצאי ("my exile," Kitzur 4:14).

TIMING + PROCESS NOTES

BLOCK CYCLE — 5 minutes 40 seconds (13:05:23-13:11:03). Trim applied: unit read = derivation log only (~120 lines, not 1,300). One chapter-wide Minchat Shai query banked the 4:17-26 notes for gen_13 free. Two verifier iterations: G12-01 hit the morpheme-slash rule (הלוא stored as ה/לוא — pattern must stay inside the לוא morpheme); G12-12's census corrected upward by probe (I claimed 1 token, SNAPSHOT holds 2 — the 2:14/4:16 pair turned out STRONGER than the claim). Absence-of-dagesh checks proved possible: contiguous consonant+vowel substring (G12-06).
