| VERIFIED | G04-01 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:14 (Pesikta; Yerushalmi Taanit; Kitzur Baal HaTurim) | meorot ('luminaries') in the command is written DOUBLY LEAN — no vav at all, the skeleton of meera ('curse'): the Pesikta's 'only the sun's orb was created to give light' and the Yerushalmi's Wednesday fast over the children's croup both hang on this spelling; bare form once in the Torah. count=1 refs=['Gen 1:14'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-02 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:15 quoting the Ramah | The Ramah's census: 'meorot — TWO doubly lean in the language, sign: yehi meorot (1:14) and et shene ha-meorot (1:16)' — the second station, with the article, also once in the Torah. count=1 refs=['Gen 1:16'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-03 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:14 (the Zohar's list) | le-otot ('for signs') is lean-of-lean too — no vav in either slot — and this doubly-lean form stands once in the Torah. count=1 refs=['Gen 1:14'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-04 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:15 (handwritten Masorah; the Hilleli codex; the Ramah) | li-meorot ('for luminaries', 1:15) is FULL in the first vav and lean in the second — the handwritten Masorah note, the manuscripts, the early print, and the spelling list MS copied from the 900-year-old Hilleli codex, all matched in-stream. count=1 refs=['Gen 1:15'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-05 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:16 quoting the Ramah (against the handwritten Masorah's 'unique-and-lean') | ha-maor ('the luminary'): the Ramah rules it FULL, 'and every maor-language in the Torah likewise full except one' — SNAPSHOT writes the full form at all seven article-stations: the great and the small light here, the lamp-verses of the Tabernacle, and the lamp-charge of Numbers. count=7 refs=['Exod 35:14', 'Exod 39:37', 'Gen 1:16', 'Num 4:16', 'Num 4:9'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-06 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:16 quoting the Ramah | The Ramah's ONE exception, his own sign: shemen la-maor ('oil for the light'), the FIRST of the Terumah portion — the single lean maor-word in the Torah, exactly where he said it stands. count=1 refs=['Exod 25:6'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-07 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:16 quoting the Ramah | The rule's other half: every remaining la-maor ('for the light') is FULL — four stations (the eternal-lamp commands of Exodus and Leviticus, the anointing-oil list, the freewill gifts). count=4 refs=['Exod 27:20', 'Exod 35:28', 'Exod 35:8', 'Lev 24:2'] |
| VERIFIED | G04-08 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:18 (Et Sofer; Meiri's Kiryat Sefer) | u-la-havdil ('and to divide', 1:18): Et Sofer and the Meiri rule the vav carries a geiya (the small stress-stroke) — SNAPSHOT writes it in-stream. he=ִ֔יל |
| VERIFIED | G04-09 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:18 (the books divided) | The same word's lamed: MS records the books DIVIDED — plain sheva (the silent half-vowel) in some, sheva-patach (the hataf half-vowel) in others. SNAPSHOT writes the HATAF under the lamed while ALSO carrying Et Sofer's geiya — a mixed station joining both camps' marks: the half-vowel law's lamed again, split-attested. he=ִ֔יל |
| VERIFIED | G04-10 | Minchat Shai on Gen 1:18 | MS closes: 'the word's accent is zaqef qatan (the small two-dot pause)' — in-stream. he=ִ֔יל |

Sources: Minchat Shai on Gen 1:14/15/16/18 (six notes) · Kitzur Baal HaTurim on 1:14 · (Pesikta; Yerushalmi Taanit; the Zohar's list; the Ramah; the Hilleli codex; Et Sofer; Meiri's Kiryat Sefer).
CROWNS
- G04-01 the curse-skeleton luminaries: מארת ("luminaries") in the command is DOUBLY LEAN — no vav at all, the skeleton of מארה ("curse"). The Pesikta hangs "only the sun's orb was created to give light" on it; the Yerushalmi hangs the Wednesday fast over the children's croup on it; Kitzur adds the moon exists only so the sun is not worshipped alone. Bare form once in the Torah.
- G04-02 the Ramah's two-station census: "מארת — two doubly lean, sign: יהי מארת ('let there be luminaries', 1:14) and את שני המארת ('the two luminaries', 1:16)" — both stations in the stream, only these.
- G04-03 the lean signs: לאתת ("for signs") lean-of-lean too (the Zohar's list) — once in the Torah.
- G04-04 the Hilleli's full first vav: למאורת ("for luminaries", 1:15) full-first-lean-second — the handwritten Masorah (the counting tradition), manuscripts, early print, and the spelling list MS copied from the 900-year-old Hilleli codex, matched.
- G04-05/06/07 the Ramah's maor-rule, verified WHOLE: "המאור full, and every maor-word ('luminary') in the Torah full — except one: שמן למאר ('oil for the light'), FIRST of Terumah." SNAPSHOT: all seven article-stations full (the great and small lights, the Tabernacle lamp-verses, the lamp-charge of Numbers), all four remaining למאור ("for the light") full, and the ONE lean למאר exactly at Exod 25:6 — his own sign, his own address. (The handwritten Masorah's "unique-and-lean" on 1:16 loses to the Ramah + precise books, and the stream sides with them.)
- G04-08/09/10 the divided divide-word: ולהבדיל ("and to divide", 1:18) — Et Sofer + the Meiri rule vav-with-geiya (the small stress-stroke); other books point the lamed with sheva-patach (the hataf half-vowel) instead of plain sheva. SNAPSHOT writes BOTH — geiya on the vav AND hataf under the lamed: a mixed station joining both camps' marks. The half-vowel law's LAMED again, split-attested; the word's accent zaqef qatan (the small two-dot pause) as MS closes.
DISCREPANCIES / GAPS
- G04-09 files to the half-vowel split-attested set (station 5): SNAPSHOT joins the written-hataf camp while carrying Et Sofer's geiya — the same both-camps mix as the water-troughs station (Gen 30:38).
READINGS FILED (named-only)
MS on ולמועדים ("and for seasons"): R. Yehuda Chayyuj's rule — every word-initial shuruq-vav is read like a shuruq-aleph, "as we have received the reading generation after generation" (reading custom, no letter-claim).
TIMING + PROCESS NOTES
Lean-record mode. Local mirror only, zero fetches. MS on 1:15 carries the Hilleli provenance essay (the 1490 exile of the codex, Radak's Toledo sightings) — filed as source-history, not a claim.
